Before the first board is assembled, we review your bill of materials, Gerber data and layout for manufacturability — and discuss anything unclear with you directly. SBS-Advantec delivers electronic assemblies with documented manufacturing processes, ERP-based traceability and a named contact person throughout the entire project.
SBS-Advantec is an owner-managed EMS provider for PCB assembly and electronic assembly manufacturing, based in Eschweiler, Germany — within easy reach of the Dutch and Belgian border. We manufacture electronic assemblies in SMD and THT technology, and we support our customers technically before production even starts: with manufacturability reviews, BOM analysis and advice on design-for-manufacturing.
If we find anything unusual in your bill of materials, production data or layout, we clarify it with you before production begins. Documented manufacturing processes, ERP-based traceability and a quality management system certified to ISO 9001:2015 (TÜV Rheinland) secure quality from the first to the last production step.
Procurement, manufacturing review, SMD and THT assembly, inspection and delivery from a single source.
Batches, components and production steps are documented in our ERP system and can be traced when required.
From single samples and prototype runs through to series production — suitable for samples, prototypes and low-volume series.
Bill of materials, Gerber data and layout are reviewed before the order starts. Problems are identified before they reach production.

Quality management system to ISO 9001:2015
From material procurement and production planning through SMD and THT assembly, soldering and optical inspection to the cleaned and optionally coated assembly — electronics and assembly manufacturing from a single source.
Precise solder paste application as the basis for stable, reproducible assembly results. Print quality is monitored throughout the process and matched to each individual assembly.
Automated SMD assembly for small and complex packages. Suitable for prototypes, low-volume series and recurring series orders, with documented manufacturing processes.
Through-hole assembly for leaded components, connectors, power components and special parts. Depending on the project, processing is manual, semi-automated or process-supported.
Controlled reflow soldering with matched temperature profiles for reliable processing of electronic assemblies. Suitable for varying assembly complexity and component requirements.
Selective soldering for through-hole components on already populated assemblies. Particularly suitable for connectors, leaded components and assemblies with mixed SMD and THT population.
Optical inspection against project-specific criteria. The inspection supports quality assurance and can be integrated into the production process as required.
ERP-supported and documented end to end — from your order to the delivery of your assemblies.
Before production starts we check the bill of materials, production data and layout for plausibility and manufacturability. Anything unusual is clarified with you early, so that technical questions do not surface in the middle of production. In parallel, the order, material flow and production steps are set up in our system.
Customer-supplied and procured components are recorded, inspected and stored appropriately. Shortages, deviations or unclear specifications are communicated openly before production starts. Machine programs, stencils, production documents and setup instructions are then prepared.
Solder paste is applied reproducibly and matched to the layout, component sizes and stencil design. The aim is a clean paste print for reliable SMD placement and stable solder joints.
SMD components are placed according to the bill of materials and placement data. We pay attention to correct orientation, accurate component allocation and traceable processing — from prototype to series.
Leaded components, connectors and special parts are processed manually or process-supported, depending on the assembly. The appropriate soldering process is selected based on the assembly, component geometry and technical requirements.
After soldering, assemblies are cleaned as required and optionally protected with a conformal coating. Type and scope are defined per project.
After production, assemblies are inspected optically using comparative image control. AOI inspection to project requirements is available on request. The assemblies are then packed ESD-compliant and delivered.
Every production step is defined, documented and verifiable — from incoming inspection of components to the inspection and delivery of the finished assembly.
Bill of materials, Gerber data and layout are analysed and checked for manufacturability before production starts. Problems are identified and resolved with you — before they cost money.
Owner-managed means direct answers, not transferred calls. The person on the phone knows your project and can give you binding answers.
ISO 9001:2015, ERP-based traceability and documented manufacturing processes are not an add-on at SBS-Advantec — they are standard practice in every project.
Describe your project — whether PCB assembly, assembly manufacturing or manufacturing advice. We reply within one business day with a concrete assessment. No ticket system, no call centre: your contact person knows your order and decides directly.
